If this is the longest run you’ve done, congratulations ahead of time. 8-Miles feels like a big distance, well beyond a 5-mile standard, but in the last six weeks we’ve slowly built the miles and the 8-miles will feel great. Again, if this is your first time running this kind of distance and there’s some hesitation, run this on a 4 out/back route so that it forces you to keep running and doesn’t temp you to finish a smaller loop first.
