Today marks the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. It’s hard to imagine being one of the young men who landed in Normandy that day, but those men did it. If you have an opportunity to talk to one of the few living WW2 veterans, do it. That generation is almost gone, and with them go nearly all of their stories.

As far as training today, get outside and enjoy a nice ruck. Don’t listen to any music or distractions. Reflect a little bit about the importance of this day in history. Get into a nice smooth pace and focus on a nice stride.
